Studying at the University of Milano-Bicocca gave me a good quantitative background and the skills required to think critically about economic problems, alongside with the opportunity to take part in a variety of exciting programs abroad such as: Erasmus in Spain, a summer school in India and finally working on my dissertation with the Mexican Migration Project (http://mmp.opr.princeton.edu/). This led me to collaborate with the Centro Studi Luca d’Agliano (http://www.dagliano.unimi.it/) and Innovation for Poverty Action (http://www.poverty-action.org/). Determined to pursue a career in international development, I obtained a  MSc in Development Economics from  the University of Sussex, had research experience at the Oxford University, and I am currently Global Impact Evaluation Adviser at Oxfam.

I attended ECOECO course from 2011 to 2013. I chose it because the program covered a wide range of areas, such as Economics, Business, Finance and Law. It offered me muldisciplinary skills, a good knowledge of Mathemacs and Statistics, teamwork skills and operational capabilies in measurement, survey and data management. These skills are an asset in my current job as Operaonal Buyer in Nestlè procurement department. My daily work requires team cooperation, computer abilities and competence in treatment of data in order to supervise purchase process, create purchase orders and solve problems both inside the company and outside it, with suppliers.
